Job Summary

Aramark is seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Lead to join our team. As a Security Operations Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining the security of people and/or property in the assigned area(s). This role requires a strong understanding of law enforcement principles and the ability to assess situations and handle them accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patrol of buildings and surrounding property to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Schedule and assign daily work assignments and/or projects to a team of security personnel.
  • Coordinate completion of tasks and ensure that all security protocols are followed.
  • Protect property and staff by maintaining safe and secure surroundings, including monitoring and controlling access at building entrances.
  • Respond to all emergency situations and maintain confidentiality of security information.
  • Ensure the security of company assets and patrol assigned areas on foot to check for fires, vandalism, suspicious activity, or safety/fire hazards.
  • Investigate and/or report hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances to the General Manager for correction or follow-up actions.
  • Check doors and windows of buildings to ensure they are tightly closed and locked, and note any unlocked doors/windows in a written log.
  • Assist any persons in the building or on grounds needing directions or information, and escort people/property to desired destinations when necessary.
  • Respond to alarms and dispatched calls, and decide what actions to take based on the situation, facts known, and position limitations.
  • Decide when an incident requires a written report, and submit the report to the supervisor.
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in law enforcement is required.
  • Previous experience as a security officer is required.
  • Previous experience in a lead security role is preferred.
  • Requires a full understanding and knowledge of law enforcement principles.
  • Ability to assess situations and handle them accordingly.
  • Able to handle a degree of self-autonomy.
  • Must hold the proper license based on state/local regulations.
  • Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 25 lb.
  • Requires frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
  • Must be able to work days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as required by location.
