Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a crew for the installation of new and existing fire alarm systems, ensuring timely and efficient completion of projects.
  • Perform routine servicing, inspection, testing, and maintenance of various fire systems, including fire alarm and suppression systems.
  • Conduct conduit bending and installation, ensuring high-quality and precise workmanship.
  • Assist in the training of new hires to continue our company's growth and expansion.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call team, providing 24/7 support for emergency situations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and as-built drawings for all projects.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management, ensuring the success of our team and company.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in fire detection and signaling systems, with a strong understanding of electrical and fire safety principles.
  • Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or related fields, with a focus on fire alarm and low-voltage systems.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as access control and CCTV systems.
  • Ability to multitask, handle physical workload, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
