Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, a leading manufacturer of refrigerated semi-trailers, is seeking a highly skilled Regional Field Service Manager to join our team. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and product quality in the field.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealer Service Managers and General Managers/owners in assigned regions, providing counsel and support to ensure optimal product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Warranty and Claims Management: Train dealer Service Managers on warranty policies and procedures, resolve claims submitted by the region, and find and resolve unresolved service-related disputes with dealers and customers.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that dealers are compliant with warranty policy and proper service technique(s) in accordance with Company serviceability standards, and recommend new department processes as needed.
- Project Management: Recommend and manage projects to optimize end-user satisfaction and the Company's reputation, creating and furnishing written trip reports of activities.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Dynamics 365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and virtual collaborative tools (Microsoft Teams, Planner, Zoom, etc.).
- Experience: Prior manufacturing experience preferred, with familiarity with the Company's systems and corporate philosophy a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent mechanical and diagnostic ability, ability to prioritize, delegate, and make decisions, excellent listening, oral and written communications skills, and excellent management skills.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification highly desired.
The work environment is an office setting, with occasional travel to factory settings. The noise level is usually low to moderate.
