Job Title: RN Temp Home Health

Job Summary:

The RN Temp Home Health position at Riverside Health System requires a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to non-professional personnel, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure that patients are meeting their care goals.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia.
  • 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in home health or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
