Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Senior Architects, Core Engineering, Marketing, and Product Management to conceptualize and develop innovative, next-generation solutions for Tier-1 and premium clients.
  • Assist Architects in conducting gap analyses, performance evaluations, and rapid prototyping to establish a reference design.
  • Engage with team members and cross-functional groups to design and implement reference solutions, ensuring cohesive integration across various organizations.
  • Lead technical discussions with external strategic partners to facilitate their success in developing compelling solutions.
  • Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs), demonstrations, or use-case optimizations as necessary to secure designs and collaborate with ecosystem partners to deliver comprehensive technical solutions.
  • Mentor and guide the team in effective problem-solving approaches, particularly in navigating complex situations.
  • Serve as an expert in crisis management, collaborating with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues across the solution stack.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and provide insights and recommendations to roadmap architects and teams.
  • Author technical documentation, application notes, and blogs for reference solutions, both internally and for external stakeholders.
  • Participate and present at key technical events in the market.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with x86 or ARM System on Chip (SoC) architectures and a solid understanding of communication protocols such as I2C, I3C, PCIe, USB, and Ethernet.
  • Familiarity with modern memory technologies including LPDDR and DDR.
  • Knowledge of power design principles and power/signal integrity analysis.
  • Proficient in Functional Safety and Security design methodologies.
  • Experience with display, audio, and video encoding/decoding technologies, as well as graphics pipelines.
  • Comprehensive system experience spanning processors, platforms, BIOS, software/firmware, machine learning, and applications.
  • Experience with the Linux operating system is preferred.
  • Understanding of operating systems and virtualization concepts.
  • Demonstrated success in enabling customers throughout their product development lifecycle.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong drive for business success and a proactive attitude.
  • Independent professional capable of establishing technical credibility and thriving under broad direction with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to align and build consensus among stakeholders towards achieving common goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Mid to senior-level hands-on experience in hardware development engineering, including PCB circuit design.
  • Proficient in using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic/protocol analyzers.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
