Job Title: CBC Line Packer (Packaging)

Carl Buddig & Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a CBC Line Packer (Packaging). In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality product by preparing and packaging cooked meat products for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load bulk meat logs into the meat slicer at required production frequency levels.
  • Perform random re-weight checks of sliced meat product.
  • Review and inspect product for quality and any signs of foreign material contamination.
  • Place predetermined amounts of sliced meat products into packaging.
  • Reject meat product that does not meet specifications.
  • Inspect individual packages for proper quality specifications.
  • Ensure that boxes are filled per required levels.
  • Place completed boxes on pallets and ensure proper pallet configuration.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in temperatures of 40 degrees or less and lift up to 35 pounds for 30 minutes at a time.
  • Flexibility to work as needed and adapt to a high-speed packaging environment.
  • Good hand/eye coordination and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and squat as needed for housekeeping responsibilities and other miscellaneous duties.
  • Ability to work 40 or more hours per week and work mandatory overtime if necessary, including weekends.
