We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Brain and Spine and Neurocritical Care units. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to patients with varying acuity across the neurological continuum of care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in neuroscience nursing.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and a culture of excellence.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Pending graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
7a-7:30p, 7p-7:30a - rotating shifts. Hires into an immediate every 3rd weekend, every 3rd holiday rotation. Every other weekend rotation is possible, if desired.
CompensationThe hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. ~$50 per hour. Shift Differential: $3 for hours worked between 7p and 7am, $2 on weekends, and $5 on weekend nights Additional, elective incentive options include premiums for straight weekends and/or straight night agreements.
