Duncan Regional Hospital is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in a travel position. As a COTA, you will work with our occupational therapy team to provide high-quality patient care and support.
Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, behavioral disorders, and gross/fine motor delays.
- Work with patients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve their functional abilities and quality of life.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop treatment plans to address those needs.
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies to promote independence and self-care.
- COTA license in good standing
- 1 year of experience as a COTA
- WebPT and Meditech experience preferred
- BLS certification required
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, 30-40 hours per week
8-10 patients seen per day
