Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Fujifilm. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our customers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of toner production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor critical accounts and participate in support activities to resolve problems efficiently
  • Analyze and evaluate equipment performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Install and remove equipment and systems as required, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to our customers
  • Work closely with our scheduler team to manage and perform preventative maintenance on trained equipment
  • Develop strong business relationships with customers and client personnel, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Complete all required reporting procedures related to equipment maintenance and repair
  • Manage and record all time and activity through our tracking system
  • Monitor and manage the return of all parts, ensuring efficient and effective inventory management
  • Attend training classes and develop necessary knowledge and skills to service GSD supported equipment and advance to a level 2 position
  • Communicate technical and escalated issues to the Regional Service Manager and Technical Service Manager
  • Perform related duties as assigned by manager
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prior experience repairing or installing complex electromechanical equipment
  • General understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
  • Ability to follow written and/or diagrammed instructions
  • Computer skills with emphasis on operating systems and hardware
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Valid state driver's license (Real ID compliant) and passport
  • Ability to do extensive traveling
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with industry-related product lines
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and training
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities
