Job Title: US Controller SAP

Job Summary:

The US Controller will lead the General Ledger/Controllership team, overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including month end close process, general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, motivate, and develop general ledger/controllership team
  • Develop, support, and maintain functioning internal controls
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including variance analysis
  • Assist in coordinating the annual and related mid-year audit process
  • Budget for and analyze performance of US Support functions (Finance, Legal, HR, etc.)
  • Identify pain points of accounting processes and make recommendations/enhancement ideas

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 8+ years relevant experience
  • Background in public audit/technical accounting advisory preferred
  • 5+ years of leadership (people management) experience in a client-focused environment
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • CPA certification strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience working with a large-scale ERP; experience with SAP preferred
  • Audit background highly preferred
  • Experience in a large, complex multi-national company accounting team preferred, minimum $100M revenue preferred
  • Industry experience in manufacturing preferred
