Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at St. Luke's Health System. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of providing exceptional, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer, using advanced technology and equipment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to determine the most effective treatment approach.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs throughout the treatment process.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
- Current certification in Radiation Therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Experience working in a radiation oncology department, preferably with Varian True Beam technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
