We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing and disposing of trash.
- Utilize protective gear and follow safety precautions when mixing and using cleaning solutions.
- Report equipment and cleaning product needs or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.
- Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met, and follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, pleasant, and tactful interaction with residents, staff, and facility guests.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Utilize leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities without supervision and without injury to oneself or others.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
- Must live in the service area.
