Job Description

University Hospitals is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in facilitating unit operations by managing patient flow and assisting with front desk duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate unit operations by managing patient flow.
  • Assist with front desk duties specific to department, including scheduling patients, collecting and verifying patient payor information and other patient documentation.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or Graduated from a state accredited paramedic program with State of Ohio Paramedic Certification.
  • 1+ years clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or a Paramedic.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year.
