Medical Equipment Service Specialist

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
Job DescriptionAs a Medical Equipment Service Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring safe delivery and setup of home medical equipment
- Educating customers on proper use and care of equipment
- Completing required documentation following equipment setup and delivery
- Assisting with customer equipment problems under emergency conditions
- Processing orders in a timely and accurate manner
You will also be expected to:
- Promote services and products to referral sources in the community
- Develop basic reimbursement knowledge and document all necessary information
- Maintain home oxygen systems through regular visits to customers
- Safely drive and maintain company vehicles
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Entry-level sales and customer service experience
- One year of military, delivery driver, or healthcare technician experience (preferred)
- A valid and unrestricted driver's license in the state of residence
This is a field-based position that requires frequent travel to customer homes and locations. You will be exposed to various environments, including homes, clinics, and long-term care settings. You must be able to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
