POSITION SUMMARY:

WR Systems is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to execute installation, testing, calibration, and repair of signal intelligence systems on naval vessels.

The role involves conducting pre-installation assessments, updating documentation, providing systems certification assistance, and training naval personnel on the operation and maintenance of signal intelligence systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install shipboard equipment and update relevant test, user, and certification documentation.
  • Offer shipboard systems certification support.
  • Monitor and track deliverables.
  • Conduct regression testing, equipment evaluation, and repair assistance.
  • Facilitate RDT&E transition support, configuration management, risk management, process development, workflow development, functional area reporting and tracking, task management, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, security protocols, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in supporting operation and systems analysis of government or commercial electronic systems or inertial navigation equipment, including equipment testing and field data evaluation.
  • At least six (6) years of experience as a technician in related electronics fields, demonstrating advanced operation and systems analysis capabilities.
  • Strong proficiency in electronics, telecommunications, and computer systems, with a solid understanding of radio frequency signal processing.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
