Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including renewals, new business, and existing clients.
- Develop and implement account plans to increase revenue and retention.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, claims, and sales, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of business strategies and initiatives to drive growth and profitability.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance, preferably in an account management or sales role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including liability, property, and workers' compensation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Insurance designations, such as CPCU or CIC.
- Experience with commercial insurance software and systems.
- Knowledge of industry trends and market conditions.
