Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Marshall & Sterling Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including renewals, new business, and existing clients.
  • Develop and implement account plans to increase revenue and retention.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, claims, and sales, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and initiatives to drive growth and profitability.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance, preferably in an account management or sales role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including liability, property, and workers' compensation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Insurance designations, such as CPCU or CIC.
  • Experience with commercial insurance software and systems.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and market conditions.
