Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift operations. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of food safety requirements, leading production, sanitation, and maintenance employees, and maximizing quality, safety, reliability, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with food safety requirements and regulations
  • Lead and motivate production, sanitation, and maintenance employees to achieve high-quality results
  • Maximize productivity, quality, and safety through lean production principles and practices
  • Collaborate with production manager to meet or exceed operational requirements
  • Cultivate a positive and productive work environment, promoting employee trust, entrepreneurial spirit, and goal orientation
  • Manage staffing levels to optimize performance and efficiency
  • Develop and implement process improvements to prevent defects and reduce yields
  • Initiate and lead improvement projects to drive results and present findings to production management
  • Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and recognize successes
  • Ensure proper administration of the collective bargaining agreement and resolve labor grievances professionally
