Job Summary:

Robinson+Cole, a leading law firm, seeks a highly skilled commercial contracts attorney to join its Business Transactions Group in any of its East Coast offices. This position will involve working with several of our practice groups, including our nationally recognized manufacturing industry practice team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and negotiating agreements and documents related to commercial transactions and general corporate matters.
  • Providing practical legal advice based on market knowledge and translating complex legal terms.
  • Working with procurement and sales personnel to ensure seamless transactions.
  • Staying up-to-date with regulatory and compliance regimes, including trade compliance and government contracts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of four years' experience as a practicing attorney.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating agreements and documents related to commercial transactions and general corporate matters.
  • Prior exposure to substantive legal areas that routinely arise in commercial contracts.
  • Ability to work in-house and/or at a private law firm dealing directly with procurement and/or sales personnel.
