Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist

At Sunnybrook Dentistry & Braces, we are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children by providing exceptional dental care in a compassionate and caring environment.
About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Dental Anesthesiologist who can work closely with our pediatric dentists to provide high-level anesthesia care during office-based surgery days. As a Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist, you will be responsible for adapting to different clinical environments and working collaboratively with our dental teams to optimize patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management.
Responsibilities:- Provide specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice, focusing on patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety or those with specific physical or cognitive needs.
- Collaborate with pediatric dentists to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies to manage complex cases and ensure successful treatment outcomes.
- Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia.
- Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing, along with required certifications such as PALS, BLS, DEA, etc.
- Professional experience in pediatric anesthesia, preferably in a dental setting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Competitive compensation package, estimated at $180,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience.
