About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bistro Attendant to join our team at Courtyard Lexington North. As a Bistro Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Service guests with all food and beverage requirements in a warm, friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Table Management: Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed, and prepare buffet stations for food set up.
  • Cash Handling: Carry out cashiering functions, including closing checks and end-of-shift paperwork.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly, and evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Customer Service Skills: Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests.
  • Financial Acumen: Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.
