As part of the College of Medicine, the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience is looking for a skilled Business Administrator to enhance the department's research initiatives.
This role is ideal for professionals with significant supervisory experience and a background in managing diverse projects related to clinical research and financial oversight. Key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities- Overseeing the financial, administrative, and operational functions of a large unit with substantial revenue generation.
- Managing personnel processes and leading annual salary review activities.
- Coordinating budget development and monitoring grants and contracts.
- Establishing purchasing priorities and advising on major capital investments.
- Acting as a knowledgeable and experienced professional in the field.
- Executing additional duties as required by departmental needs.
- A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience; -OR- an Associate's degree with five (5) years of experience; -OR- seven (7) years of experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated financial and administrative expertise, including three (3) years of supervisory experience.
- Must possess the necessary business and financial acumen to competently handle most work assignments.
