Quality Assurance Supervisor

Job SummaryThe Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for identifying potential quality issues in production and implementing solutions to mitigate them. This role also involves supervising and training non-exempt team members in the QA department, ensuring adherence to company and departmental policies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by example, promoting a culture of quality and safety among team members.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with GMPs, specifications, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the HR department to address team member concerns, resolve conflicts, and ensure fair treatment.
- Monitor and control costs, ensuring adherence to budgeted and standard operating costs.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, including inventory, production, and quality control data.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in cold temperatures.
- Computer experience with Google Suite and knowledge of timekeeping systems a plus.
