Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the established weekly educational materials while enhancing them with additional activities.
  • Assist children in achieving milestones such as potty training.
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere conducive to learning and play.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with parents through informal conversations and daily updates.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and state regulations.
  • Develop and follow a personal professional growth plan to ensure ongoing quality enhancement.
  • Teach young children biblical stories and songs.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a licensed childcare facility.
  • Willingness to commit to a 40-hour work week.
  • Comprehensive understanding of child development principles.
  • High energy and enthusiasm.
  • Physical capability to lift toddlers.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Must pass a thorough background check and health screening.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with DSS/DHEC regulations.
  • Certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid.
  • College coursework in early childhood education or a related field; CDA or 6 hours of ECE credit is advantageous.
