About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for managing a comprehensive and intricate program that supports veteran students. This role includes direct supervision of an Administrative Coordinator and a team of 33 Navigators located statewide.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preference may be given to candidates with experience in Higher Education Administration, particularly those who have worked closely with executive offices, registrars, or financial aid departments. Experience in federal grant writing or familiarity with E-Grants and AmeriCorps programs is also advantageous.

Work Environment:
This position may involve travel throughout the state, and a hybrid or remote work arrangement within the state will be considered.

- Conduct thorough evaluations of state policies and legislative impacts.
- Initiate and manage policy research projects.
- Assist in drafting agency policies and reviewing organizational goals.
- Represent the agency in public forums and legislative committees.
