We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technician to support our verification projects and testing diagnostic machines. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in collaborating with the team to develop and execute laboratory protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the team to develop and execute laboratory protocols.
- Perform testing and verification of diagnostic machines according to established protocols.
- Document test results and troubleshoot issues with instrumentation and software.
- Assist with laboratory maintenance and ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of [X] years of laboratory experience, preferably in a medical device or biomedical engineering environment.
- Skills: Proficiency with PC applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Experience with verification projects and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation. Familiarity with medical device testing and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with Python programming, JMP, and SolidWorks.
- Background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and medical device testing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in laboratory techniques, with a focus on performing and documenting tests, and troubleshooting technical issues. The ability to adapt and learn new skills as required by the team is essential.
This is a split shift position, with start times between 7-10am and end times between 5-7pm. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to a flexible schedule and work effectively in a team environment.
