Job Title: Registered Nurse - PACU

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team in Everett, Massachusetts.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in our PACU. As a member of our team, you will work closely with our anesthesia and nurse practitioner medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the PACU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the anesthesia and nurse practitioner medical staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication administration, and other medical interventions as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • ASN or BSN degree required; BSN strongly preferred.
  • Current Massachusetts RN license.
  • Minimum of 2 years acute care nursing experience.
  • Previous experience in a critical care environment (ED, ICU, PACU) is strongly preferred, but general care experience will be considered as well.
