Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing hot food products and performing other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare hot food products
  • Prepare and portion food prior to cooking
  • Perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation
  • Comply with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
  • Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house krewe members
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
