Job Opportunity at Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group, a leading restaurant operator in the Southeast. As a Cook, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality food products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare hot food products and portion food prior to cooking
  • Perform duties in food and final plate preparation, including plating and garnishing of cooked items
  • Prepare garnishes for all hot menu item plates

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
  • Ability to follow recipes consistently and maintain quality standards
  • Compliance with kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
  • Maintenance of a clean and sanitary work area
  • Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house staff
  • Physical ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50lbs
