Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our team in our Greenwich, CT office. The successful candidate will have a strong background in tax planning, consulting, and compliance, with excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Service
    • Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to clients in a timely and effective manner.
    • Interact closely with clients to understand their tax needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Engagement Management
    • Supervise and drive the success of multiple engagements, including high net worth, individual, and tax flow-through processes.
    • Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing deadlines, and proactively sharing tax strategies.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with Partners, Directors, and staff on client management, professional development, and business development activities.
    • Assist in the training and development of staff.
  • Professional Development
    • Attend professional development and continuing education sessions on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting required.
  • Masters in Taxation degree is a plus.
  • CPA certification or working towards certification required with 3+ years of tax experience.
  • Strong technical skills in tax preparation and review, tax compliance, agency correspondence, tax research, and flow-through.
  • Proficient knowledge of CCH Prosystems Fx and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with GoFileroom and Sureprep is a plus.
  • Ability to problem-solve and think creatively and logically.
  • Ability to grasp concepts quickly and demonstrate knowledge of basic technical skills and related knowledge of necessary systems and procedures.
  • A demonstrated ability to self-direct and effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to foster client and internal relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Effective listening skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy.
  • This is not a remote position. Candidates must be able to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
