Position Overview:
Join our dedicated and compassionate team at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center as a CNA Team Leader. This role is pivotal in guiding and supporting our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other support staff in delivering exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
As a CNA Team Leader, you will:
1. Collaborate closely with the CNA Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of all CNA personnel, including CNAs, EAs, SNAs, and Meal Assistants.
2. Provide mentorship and leadership to the CNA team, fostering a culture of excellence and support.
3. Uphold the values and mission of Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
4. Maintain confidentiality of all work-related information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
5. Assist in the training and evaluation of CNA staff, offering constructive feedback and guidance for performance improvement.

Essential Functions:
In this role, you will:
- Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and compassion in all interactions with residents and team members.
- Ensure that CNAs engage residents in meaningful daily activities, providing personal care with dignity and respect.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions to the charge nurse promptly.
- Participate in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment for both residents and staff.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this position, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of two years of experience in a skilled nursing facility.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- A current Colorado CNA license and completion of an approved Nurse Aid program.
- Knowledge of the Eden Alternative Principles and the ability to implement person-centered care.

Work Environment:
This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move residents safely. The work environment may expose you to various conditions, including potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
