Senior Accountant Job Opportunity

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and controlling the General Ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the accounting functions, including G/L, fixed assets, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports as necessary.
  • Assist with the closing of monthly and annual financial periods.
  • Understand and apply GAAP accounting principles.
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel, and experience with accounting software.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
