We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Heart and Vascular department at Longview Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and plan nursing care for assigned patients, implementing and documenting interventions as needed.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring a high level of patient care and safety.
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promote patients' independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire.
- Approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required within 90 days of hire.
