Job Title: Water Conservation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Tech to join our team at LACR Cattle Company, LP in Hutto, TX. As an experienced professional in the field of irrigation systems, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities:
  • Install new irrigation systems according to design plans and specifications.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot existing irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
  • Adjust and program irrigation controllers for optimal performance and water efficiency.
  • Replace or upgrade system components such as sprinkler heads, valves, pipes, and pumps.
  • Conduct seasonal maintenance activities including system winterization and spring start-ups.
  • Ensure compliance with local water regulations and guidelines.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role.
  • Proficiency in operating irrigation equipment and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of irrigation system components and design principles.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and written instructions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
