Job Summary

Capability Health and Human Services is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as a Clinical Fellow. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a certified mentor to develop and implement therapy programs for clients with speech delays, conditions, and feeding issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement therapy programs for clients with speech delays, conditions, and feeding issues.
  • Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for patients in the program.
  • Prepare reports and attend multidisciplinary case meetings to review treatment plans.
  • Maintain clinical and administrative records in accordance with professional standards and agency policies.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to ensure practice consistent with best practice and to meet licensure requirements.
Requirements
  • Initial certification by the National Board for Speech Language Pathology required.
  • Current Provisional Speech Therapy License from the State of Nevada required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with children using knowledge of treatment practices per discipline required.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Working Conditions

This position will require up to 80% travel within the service delivery area. The position will be based in the Las Vegas area and will require working in various weather conditions.
