Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and sustain relationships with stakeholders and users
  • Collaborate with the lead data architect to understand and manage data needs
  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding of users and projects
  • Manage the lifecycle of hardware, including high-performance computing resources
  • Work with technical teams to provide recommendations for system enhancements
  • Handle resource management, including VM requests and discussions with the Resource Utilization Committee
  • Analyze project requests and advise on priorities for pursuit
  • Prepare and deliver reports on system usage, financials, and project statuses
  • Document processes and recommend improvements for operational efficiency
  • Promote ITR's mission by aligning actions with our core values of Impact, Integrity, Teamwork, Safety, and Service, while fostering an inclusive workplace.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, IT Operations Management, or a related field, with eight years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of five years in project management roles
  • Strong technical background in information systems management and project requirements gathering
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with staff and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build partnerships and lead teams effectively
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in IT project management
  • Background in research or technical environments
  • Self-motivated individual who thrives in collaborative settings
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

Note: This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance from the Department of Energy and involves participation in a workplace substance abuse testing program.
