About the Role

Sedgwick is seeking a highly skilled Workers Compensation Claims Examiner to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in analyzing and processing complex workers' compensation claims to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and process claims through well-developed action plans to achieve timely and effective resolutions.
  • Negotiate settlements within designated authority and communicate claim activity and processing with claimants and clients.
  • Report claims to excess carriers and respond to requests for directions in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
  • Active adjusters license and experience handling CT, MA, NH, RI, VT jurisdictions preferred.
