Position Summary: We are seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves executing a range of intricate assembly tasks and conducting inspections of finished products to guarantee adherence to production standards and specifications.

The successful candidate will utilize blueprints, diagrams, written schedules, and verbal or written instructions to assemble component parts and sub-assemblies. Proficiency in operating various machines, hand tools, and electrical assembly components is essential for producing quality parts and assembling items that integrate with our automation and robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct electrical panels, junction boxes, and assorted electrical components with minimal oversight.
  • Connect component wires to circuits and interconnect wires between individual component leads.
  • Plan assembly processes and methodologies to ensure efficient and timely progress.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on completed assemblies.
  • Analyze information and evaluate results to determine optimal solutions and resolve issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and management.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree (A.S.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating instructions, and procedural manuals. Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence, and speaking effectively before groups.
  • Mathematical Skills: Proficient in calculating figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.

This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a technical background and experience in electrical assembly, as well as familiarity with machines, hand tools, and electrical components.
