About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist II to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sonography procedures, including routine sonograms and interventional sonograms, under the direction of a radiologist.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Work within established policies and procedures, adhering to safety and infection control guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and/or School of Sonography.
  • Current registration/licensure/certification in good standing with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Minimum of one year of hospital department experience in medical sonography, including biopsies.
  • Ability to accurately complete sonography examinations as ordered by referring physicians.
  • Experience with radiology information systems to obtain previous examination reports.
  • Ability to correctly and safely operate sonographic equipment and perform invasive procedures.
