Junior Security Analyst Job Description

LaSalle Network is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Security Analyst to join our team. As a Junior Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our client's information systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with external auditors and clients to review and update information security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver information security awareness training to new colleagues, covering key components of information security.
  • Provide analytical support for security monitoring, vulnerability management, and security assessments.
  • Support the analysis of network threats and develop action plans for information security projects.
  • Assist with internal team tasks, including user access reviews, evidence collection for audits, and internal security request monitoring.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of information security, compliance, audit, and/or other security best practices and principles.
  • Firm understanding of computer networks, operating systems, and associated technology components.
  • Excellent work prioritization, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies and techniques, staying up-to-date on current research and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptive communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and deep dive into new technology and business domains, questioning the status quo and thinking outside the box.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent training/certification or relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communication skills when working with auditors and clients.
  • Excellent time management skills when working with multiple audits and customer requests.
  • Experience understanding and communicating information security policies.
  • 1+ years of experience in one or more: security operations, security audit, or security architecture.
