Program Overview

Community Passageways' LEAD program provides critical support services to individuals experiencing homelessness and substance use disorders in King County. The program focuses on harm reduction, case management, and advocacy to promote recovery, stability, and well-being for our clients.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Director, LEAD to lead our LEAD program and oversee daily operations, including staff management, budgeting, and data collection. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of harm reduction principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of staff members to deliver services to clients, including case management, outreach, and advocacy
  • Develop and implement harm reduction strategies to address the complex needs of clients, including mental health, substance use, and housing needs
  • Collaborate with community partners, law enforcement, and prosecutors to ensure effective service delivery and promote client engagement
  • Manage program budgets, finances, and data collection to ensure compliance with grant requirements and reporting obligations
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A master's degree in social work or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership position, preferably in a clinical setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate and work effectively within the criminal justice system
  • Current Washington State driver's license and reliable vehicle
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Community Passageways offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
