About the Role:

We are seeking a Therapeutic Counselor Intern to join our Equine Therapy Program, Trot On, providing community-based services to adolescents and transitional age youth (12-24) struggling with substance use disorders or at-risk behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a variety of community-based services, including skill coaching, job coaching, life skills training, activity planning, and crisis management.
  • Maintain positive relationships with outside agencies, families, and other involved parties.
  • Document all services as required by policy and procedure.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must have an acceptable CORI, national background check, and appropriate driving record.
  • Maintains a valid driver's license and access to a working, registered, insured vehicle.
