Parallel Employment is collaborating with a manufacturing firm seeking skilled Welders/Balancers for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
The primary responsibility of this position is to accurately and safely weld and balance products according to specifications. This role involves operating an overhead crane to handle materials and employing various methods to straighten, balance, measure, and inspect the work.
Shift Details:
- 1st shift: 6am-4pm Monday-Thursday
- 2nd shift: 4pm-2am Monday-Thursday
- 3rd shift: 10pm-6am Sunday-Wednesday
Compensation:
Starting wage ranges from $17 to $19 per hour, depending on experience, with additional shift premiums available for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of relevant experience
- Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and job routers
- Good manual dexterity
- Welding certification required
Work Environment:
This role is primarily conducted on the manufacturing shop floor. Employees may encounter fumes or airborne particles and work near moving mechanical components. The noise level can vary, and the position may require lifting heavy objects up to 60 lbs and standing for extended periods. Effective communication among team members is essential.
All positions necessitate the use of appropriate personal protective equipment and participation in the company's safety training programs.
