Residential Caregiver

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Aide to join our team. As a Residential Aide, you will provide shift oversight to our seriously mentally ill population in a Residential setting. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct care to clients in a home setting
• Building professional rapport with clients, families, and peers
• Assisting and redirecting clients with their basic living skills
• Recording and maintaining patient information
• Facilitating individual and/or group basic living skill training sessions
• Modeling appropriate behavior and interventions
• Documenting progress notes in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Monitoring clients to detect unusual or harmful behaviors and reporting observations
• Assisting with coordinating client activities in-house and in the community
• Communicating effectively in oral and written form
• Transporting clients to agency, community appointments, and/or shopping

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• A valid driver's license with a 5-year driving record
• Certification in CPR/1st Aid, MAC I and II, and CPI
• Personal Automobile Liability Insurance
