Occupational Therapy Position in King City, CA

Soliant Education is seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team for a full-time, hourly contracted position. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to make a significant impact in the lives of students while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' abilities and needs, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique requirements, focusing on motor, sensory, and perceptual skills.
  • Provide high-quality therapy services, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of students' progress and therapy sessions, adhering to best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of individualized education programs that cater to students' diverse needs.
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education, ensuring the provision of high-quality services and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California.
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required; strong interpersonal and communication skills essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, prioritizing collaboration and open communication.
