Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Yard Technician to join our team at Holt of California. As a Yard Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our rental equipment and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with equipment rentals and returns, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Conduct thorough safety checks on equipment before and after rental periods.
  • Prepare equipment for rental by cleaning, inspecting, and performing minor repairs.
  • Collaborate with rental coordinators and shop staff to schedule repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure equipment is properly stored and maintained, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience a plus.
  • Valid Class C driver's license and clean DMV record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, frequently lift up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift over 100 pounds.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
