Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist PRN to join our team at Oviedo Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing technical procedures applying computerized ionizing radiation for detecting pathology. You will operate the CT equipment safely and maintain A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing all types of procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures
  • Operate CT equipment safely and maintain A.L.A.R.A. standards
  • Participate in the establishment of scan protocols and execution of specific applications
  • Administer contrast media as needed
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff
Requirements
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) required; (CT) preferred
  • State Registered Radiologic Technologist
  • Vocational School Graduate
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
