Job Summary:
The Panel Technician position is a key role in the production of Precision Pumping Systems' products. This position involves performing critical tasks, including measuring, laying out components and wiring, packaging, and learning other manufacturing jobs. The position requires self-directed and collaborative work.
Essential Job Functions:
- Fabricate parts by wiring and assembling panels.
- Drill, tap, crimp, torque, and route wires and components per schematics, wiring diagrams, and UL 508-A standards.
- Verify work and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Work independently or with a team.
- Train others as needed.
- Report non-conformances to area lead or supervisor as they arise.
- Utilize safe, quality practices and systems.
- Maintain an organized, clean work area.
- Record time for jobs.
- Package control panels for shipment.
- Cross-train and learn other functions in manufacturing.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with hours from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Requirements:
- Applicant must be legally able to work in the US.
- Applicant must furnish a valid Driver's License and clean MVR.
- Applicant may be subject to successful completion of pre-employment background screening.
