Position Overview:
This position is focused on delivering equipment repair support and maintenance assistance to the manufacturing division during the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11:30pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on light industrial manufacturing machinery
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical systems
- Execute basic mechanical and electrical repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks
- Assist with tooling repairs and upkeep
- Troubleshoot PLC systems
- Capable of executing basic electrical system installations
- Availability for overtime, including weekends, may be necessary

EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Technical School, or equivalent experience is required

MANAGEMENT:
No direct reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical Degree with 1+ years of experience OR a minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance of manufacturing equipment
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills are essential
  • Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and repair is preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and similar software applications

*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to navigate within plant and office environments
  • Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds and working on ladders
  • Other physical demands may vary

*WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Operates in a manufacturing plant floor setting
  • Regular exposure to both plant and office environments
