Join Our Team as a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Full-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our team at CVS Health. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our MinuteClinic team.

About the Role

This is a full-time, FNP float role supporting the Decatur, GA and surrounding clinics. You will be responsible for providing primary and family evidenced-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic, evidenced-based care to patients, including education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention, and safer sex practices.
  • Perform duties including speaking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
  • Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness, chronic condition management.

Requirements

Experience in Family medicine or primary care practice preferred. If less than 1 year of work experience as a licensed provider, prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred, but not required.
