Qualifications Required:

  • Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Certified School Nurse (CSN) endorsement.
  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) License or equivalent credentials in your state.
  • Educational background must include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), or Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS).

Job Responsibilities:

  • This is a contract position for the school year.
  • Expected working hours are 37.5 hours weekly.
  • The caseload will involve providing care for students ranging from elementary to high school.
  • Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: managing medically fragile students, tracheostomy care, medication administration, diabetic care, support for wheelchair-bound students, asthma management with inhalers, seizure disorder care, G-tube management, and potential involvement in toileting, suctioning, catheter care, or bus-riding assistance.
